WITCH FINGER COOKIES
Terrifying recipe for witch's finger cookies. Perfect for Halloween.

INGREDIENTS
- 250 g (9 oz) sifted flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 125 g (4 1/2 oz) powdered sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 45 mL (3 tbsp.) cold water
- 1 egg, yolk
- 125 g (4 1/2 oz) butter, cubed
- Vanilla extract
- 1 orange, zested
- 12 almonds
- 60 mL (4 tbsp.) strawberry jam
PREPARATION

In the bowl of a food processor or with a whisk, mix the flour, salt, sugar, then add the water, egg, butter, zest and vanilla, until you obtain a homogeneous dough that does not stick and forms a ball.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat oven, rack in the middle 200°C (400°F).
Cut pieces of dough into finger-sized balls.
To make the nail, add 1 almond to the end of each roll.
Sculpt the shape of the phalanges.
On a cookie sheet, covered with a silicone mat, place the pieces of dough and bake for 10 minutes.
Let cool.
Dip the end that does not have the almond in the strawberry jam.
