Description
True works of art from the Forge de Laguiole workshops, the knives in the Collection range have bees entirely hand-sculpted using files and chisels. The spring is also hand-engraved with chisels and punches.
BEE
In each range, Tradition, Edition, and Collection, the bee and the spring are forged* from a single piece. The guilloché work is done entirely by hand by one of our cutlers.
SPRING & HANDLE
The guilloché work on the spring is entirely hand-done, and the liners can also be engraved. Laguiole also offers full-handle models in this range.
BLADE
The blades are forged at nearly 1000° in factories from a French steel produced exclusively for Forge de Laguiole: The T12. Resulting from a careful blend of carbon and chromium, this steel ensures exceptional sharpness, excellent edge retention, and remarkable ease of sharpening while guaranteeing the blade’s durability. This range also offers blades in Damascus or raw forge.
