Description

You are a great lover of champagne? Are you looking for an original and unique gift for a collector of this elixir?

Discover the luxurious Lassalle champagne saber, displayed on a mahogany base or presented in a prestigious oak box that makes it a true decorative object.

Breaking the neck of a champagne bottle was a ritual dear to Napoleon. To celebrate a victory under the empire, the rite consisted in breaking the neck of the bottles with a saber. The passementerie straps, supplied with this collector's item, are reminiscent of the cavalrymen of the Napoleonic guard and the way they held their weapons on their wrists.

The Lassalle champagne saber has a blue handle and its guard is covered with silver.

This beautiful gift idea is a 100% made in France realization, handcrafted in the cutlery workshops of master craftsman Claude Dozorme.

Technical characteristics :

The Lassalle champagne saber is a product made in France, in the workshops of the Claude Dozorme cutlery, by passionate and qualified craftsmen.

Different models of saber are available. The product is delivered with its mahogany base, a hand strap and a booklet on the art of champagne sabering.

The blade, which is not sharp, is made of high quality steel X50CrMoV15.

The dimensions of the champagne saber are :

- Total length: 48 centimeters

- Length of the handle: 17 centimeters

Instructions for use: stand far from the guests and after having removed the corkscrew, let the sword slide energetically along the seam of the bottle, giving a sharp blow on the base of the neck in order to cut it without shattering the glass. Be careful, the neck of the bottle breaks and flies away with the cork at a speed of about 200 km/h and can reach a distance of at least 15 meters. Children are not allowed to break the champagne.
