Description
Champagne is for all occasions! To sabrer champagne, nothing beats a Claude Dozorme champagne saber.
Appreciated all over the world for the lightness of its bubbles, its finesse and its unique taste, champagne is the image of France. The service and the opening of a bottle of champagne has its ritual. The most emblematic ritual is the sabering of its neck dear to Napoleon. For this, we use the traditional champagne saber. Indeed, under the Empire to celebrate a victory, the rite is to break the neck of the bottles with a sword.
To perpetuate this centuries old tradition, the Claude Dozorme factory reissues large collections of champagne sabers. Claude Dozorme offers two distinguished and refined ranges:
- The Prestige saber, with its fine gold guard for the Red, Olive, Green and Marquetry models and with its silver guard for the Black and Blue models;
- The saber Design, more contemporary with its silver, black or bronze guard.
As for the passementerie straps, they recall the way the cavalrymen of the Napoleonic guard held their weapons on their wrists. An original and prestigious gift that accompanies with elegance all great events.
Claude Dozorme makes his champagne sabers in his own workshop. All the steps of manufacturing a saber are integrated in-house. Thus, each Claude Dozorme champagne sword is guaranteed 100% French, handcrafted and made in the respect of the cutlery tradition.
