The Demeyere INDUSTRY 12" - 30cm Wok wide, bowl-shaped vessel with a small flat base and tall sloped sides. This design allows heat to be well distributed across the base while the sloping sides make it easier to stir and turn ingredients as they cook. Great for stir-frying, steaming vegetables and even poaching.
All Industry cookware by Demeyere are composed of a 5-ply material throughout. This combination of 5 alloys includes aluminum for even heat distribution and magnetic stainless steel on the outside for use on all hobs, including induction. The 5-Ply clad construction and flat-base technology offer stable, rapid and lasting heat distribution. The best quality stainless steel, 18/10 or SAE 304, is an alloy containing 18% chrome, 10% nickel(*) and 72% iron. Stainless steel does not only show high resistance to corrosion, it is also a very strong material which resists deformation. Made in Belgium.
