It is advisable to wash a wooden item with soapy water and dry quickly. Never let a wooden piece soak and do not put in the dishwasher. Periodically, when you feel a certain dryness in the wood, coat it with edible mineral oil or a mixture of oil and wax created for this purpose.

In the heart of the Kamouraska region, Arbol conceives wooden kitchen accessories keeping in mind quality, durability and environmental sustainability. Arbol uses mainly indigenous North American wood such as black walnut, cherry and maple. For a good maintenance, wash in soap and water, rinse and than dry thoroughly. Never leave in water for a period of time nor place in a dishwasher. Apply at least once a month a fine coat of wax.
