Description
This round tagine from the Staub Specialties range is popular with beginners, amateur cooks and professionals who enjoy experimenting. The tagine was originally created by the Berber tribes of Morocco and is therefore generally used to cook North African dishes. That said, the tagine can also be used to cook a variety of delicious dishes from other corners of the globe. A tagine is shaped like a cone, a unique shape that intensifies the flavour of foods, and was originally made from clay. Cast iron is a more suitable material for cookers which is why the black Staub tagine has a cast iron base and an airtight ceramic lid, which stops air from escaping and the flavour of the food from diminishing. The tagine is 28 cm in diameter and can be used on all heat sources, as well as on induction hobs. Why not use your new tagine to make a delicious vegetarian Moroccan dish? The distinctive flavours are sure to make an impression on your guests. You can even use the round Staub tagine to conjure up exceptionally flavoursome meat, fish or vegetable casseroles.
