Le Thiers paring knife satin-finish blade

This aesthetic paring knife has a olive wood handle. The shape of the handle is Le Thiers shape, a shape that can only be manufactured in the Thiernois basin according to very strict specifications.

The blade of this product is very sharp and easily re-scalable, it was forged in a steel of very good quality : X50CrMoV15 stainless steel.

All our kitchen knives and other accessories are 100% made in France, in the workshops of the master craftsman and cutler of Thiers: Claude Dozorme.

Technical characteristics :

This versatile knife of French manufacture was designed in the capital of cutlery, in Thiers, in the workshops of Claude Dozorme cutlery. Very ergonomic, it offers an excellent handle thanks to the Le Thiers slightly curved handle. The blade, with sharp razor sharpening, was made from a high quality stainless steel X50CrMoV15, which consists of :

• 0,50 of carbon that gives the good cutting edge to the blade
• 0,15 of chromium that makes the stainless steel blade
• 1% of molybdenum and vanadium that allows an easily resharpening of the blade.
• The knife is offered with an olive wood handle. This knife is delivered in a natural kraft box.
