Description
It has the ardor of a sparkling wine, the elegance of a festive decoration, the flavors of a generous table. It is the promise of a festive Christmas, of a New Year's Eve that joyfully crowns the year. It begins with citrus notes and the sparkling zest of grapefruit. A floral heart of rose and lily of the valley, sublimated by the soft subtlety of patchouli, is then revealed. The finish is wonderful: the effervescence of an exquisite nectar, the passion of a divine musk. It is the contrast between its zesty notes and its sweet aromas that creates all the brilliance of this perfume, but it is the patchouli that gives it its festive heart.
Perfumed secret: originating from Indonesia, patchouli has been used in perfumery since the middle of the 19th century. For a long time, it suffered from the sulphurous reputation of false socialites who were particularly fond of its sweet fragrance. It was only much later, in the 1960s and 1970s, that patchouli, hailed by the hippies, was elevated to the rank of aromatic emblem and became the symbol of exoticism, freedom and sensuality.
