Commonly used in bread-making to help yeast develop efficiently during fermentation, for good leavening and bakeability.
This silky, amber-colored powder contributes to good rise, texture and brown crust in bread production.
It is rich in vitamins and minerals, and is widely used in dairy products, soft drinks and children's foods. It is added to dry mixes for soups and sauces.
An excellent addition to any flour to which barley malt is not added, such as whole wheat and organic flour. Also produces soft-textured bread.
